Lao Can Heating and Cooling, operated by Lao Can Fireplace Inc. ("we", "us"), provides heating, cooling, and gas fireplace services in Halton Hills and the Greater Toronto Area. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect. When you call, text, or request service, we collect your name, phone number, service address, and details about the work you request. If you pay an invoice, payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
How we use it. We use your information to respond to your inquiries, schedule and perform service, send quotes and invoices, and follow up on work you requested. We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS). If you call or text our business number, we may reply by text message with service-related information: responses to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes, invoices with secure payment links, and receipts. Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent. You opt in by contacting us first (calling or texting our number) or by giving us your number for service. We log the date and basis of your consent.
Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 647-986-0167. Opting out will not affect any service already booked.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages described above.
Service providers. We use trusted platforms to operate: Twilio (text messaging), Stripe (payments), and Google (scheduling and records). Each processes your information only to provide its service to us.
